Our evaluation approach focuses on crucial aspects: ensuring the K9 knows the odors it's trained to detect, its ability to communicate findings to the handler through behavioral changes and alerts, the handler's capability to interpret these signals, and finally, assessing the team's collaboration in conducting safe, logical, and systematic searches.

I’m interested in your sniff n go events, what odors do you place? And what if my dog is only trained in one or two of the odors?
I place Anise, Birch, and Clove in the search areas. If your dog is not on all three odors, let me know and we’ll skip the odors you dog is not trained on. At request, I can also place HRD, drug, and soon, explosive odors. Contact me before signing up as the pricing is a bit more for the specialty odors.
Do you offer obedience training?
I do not. My focus is on detection dog training and all the fun that goes along watching the bond of the dog and the handler grow. Having said that, in my experience, dogs who have been trained in scent work behave better. Here's a link to an article about some research done in regards to scent work and obedience.

I would like to use your self wash. What should I bring?
Your dog & leash! I have everything else you need from shampoo/conditioner, towels, blow dryer, multiple styles of brushes, and ear cleaner. I’ll even clean up for you (please be nice.) If you want to bring your own shampoo/conditioner make sure it’s not prescription and it’s chemical free. Please do not bring fleas, ticks, open sores or cough/sickness.
